As an independent support resource, we do not directly collect payments for CCleaner software subscriptions. All financial transactions occur via official vendors (e.g., Cleverbridge). We act as your concierge to verify your claim and expedite the refund through these official channels.
1. Eligibility for Refunds
Typically, software subscriptions are eligible for a full refund if requested within 30 days of the initial purchase or automatic renewal. Eligibility factors include:
- Technical inability to activate the software after expert support intervention.
- Accidental duplicate orders for the same license key.
- Unauthorized automatic renewals that occurred without prior notification.
- Billing errors resulting in incorrect charge amounts.
2. How to Request a Refund
To initiate a refund claim through our concierge service, please follow these steps:
- Open a support ticket via our Contact Form.
- Provide your Order ID (usually starting with CB or similar).
- State the reason for the refund clearly.
- Our team will verify the purchase with the billing gateway and submit the validated claim for processing.
3. Processing Timelines
Once our team verifies your refund eligibility:
- Verification: Completed within 24-48 business hours.
- Gateway Processing: Once the official vendor accepts the claim, funds typically return to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.
4. Subscription Cancellation
If you wish to stop future charges rather than refunding a current one, we can assist you in disabling the Auto-Renewal feature. This ensures your current license remains active until the end of the term, but you will not be billed again.
5. Non-Refundable Items
Certain items may not be eligible for refund, including:
- Requests made after the 30-day window.
- Purchases made through third-party retail stores (e.g., Best Buy, Amazon) which must be handled directly with those retailers.
- Service fees for "On-Demand" technical labor already performed and completed.
